Huskers Travel To Iowa For ITA Regionals



Iowa City, Iowa — The ITA Central Regional Championship is being held at the Hawkeye Tennis Recreation Complex in Iowa City, Iowa, beginning Thursday, Oct. 21 and running through Monday, Oct. 25th. 

There are six Huskers competing this weekend, including freshmen Jillian Roa and Lucy Loy, as well as sophomores Isabel Adrover Gallego, Chloe Kuckelman, Kristina Novak and Maja Makoric. All six will be competing in both singles and doubles.

Doubles partners for the weekend include, Novak/Makoric, Roa/Adrover Gallego, and Kuckelman/Loy.

Student-athletes from 27 different schools in the region will be participating in singles and doubles play. A total of 96 qualifiers will compete in the singles main draw. The single elimination bracket is still unreleased.
