Huskers Place 71 on Academic All-Big Ten List

The Big Ten Conference announced the spring Academic All-Big Ten teams on Wednesday. A total of 71 members from the Nebraska track and field team were honored.

Four Huskers have maintained perfect 4.0 cumulative grade-point averages during their Husker careers: Andy Jacobs (broadcasting, journalism and psychology), Margaret Pollard (computer science), Givon Washington (economics) and Simon Wiedel (elementary education).

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team, as verified by being on the official squad list as of March 12 for spring sports, who have been enrolled full-time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
