Nebraska Women’s Tennis Heads To Texas

The Nebraska women’s tennis team will play in the 15k Texas Tech ITF this weekend hosted by the Red Raiders. Sophomores Kristina Novak, Isabel Adrover Gallego and Vivien Sandberg and freshman Jillian Roa are set to compete at the four-day invite.

The Texas Tech ITF marks the second fall tournament appearance for all four Huskers. Last weekend, Novak and Adrover Gallego competed at The Milwaukee Classic with each going 1-1 overall in singles play. Sandberg and Roa traveled to Iowa two weeks ago with Roa tallying a 3-1 overall record in singles and Sandberg withdrawing from the tournament early but still recording a singles win.

The Huskers will all be competing in singles play this weekend, but a doubles draw has not been announced yet.
