Huskers to Host Colorado, Wyoming and Kansas City



The Nebraska women’s tennis team is set to host three tennis matches this week. NU will welcome Colorado on Friday at noon, Wyoming on Sunday at 10 a.m. CT and Kansas City at 2:30 p.m. CT. at the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center. Live stream and stats will be available on huskers.com. Updates will also be posted @HuskerWTennis on Twitter. 

Scouting Colorado 

• Colorado finished last season with an 8-14 record, including a 1-9 conference record.

• This year is Anthony Pham’s second year as head coach for Colorado. Previously, he was the assistant coach. 

• The Buffaloes have a balanced roster with two freshmen, two sophomores, one junior and three seniors. 

Series History with Colorado 

• The Huskers have a 11-7 overall record against the Buffaloes. The last time they met on the court was in 2012, and Nebraska won the match 7-0. 

Scouting Wyoming

• The Cowboys finished the 2022 season with a 12-13 overall record, including a 5-5 conference record.

• Dean Clower became head coach in 2012, making this his 11th season with the Cowboys. 

• This year, Wyoming’s roster has one freshman, one sophomore, four juniors and two graduate students.

Series History with Wyoming

• Nebraska is 20-0 all time against Wyoming. The last time they competed was in 2020, and NU won 6-1.

Scouting Kansas City

• The Roos finished the 2022 season with an overall record of 5-14, including a 2-5 conference record. 

• This is Head Coach Kendell Hale’s 15th season with Kansas City. 

• The Roos have a balanced roster of two freshmen, three sophomores, three juniors, one senior and one graduate student. 

Series History with Kansas City

• Nebraska is 3-0 all time against Kansas City. The last time they met on the court was in 2018 and NU won the match 4-0.
