Huskers Split Between Three Meets this Weekend



The Nebraska track and field team has athletes competing in three meets in Arkansas, Iowa and Kansas this weekend.

The Huskers have 34 athletes competing at the Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg, Kan., 29 athletes competing at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., and three athletes running at the Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa.

Friday’s action at the Gorilla Classic starts at 2 p.m., while Saturday’s events begin at 11 a.m. No video stream is available for the two-day meet, but live results are available on midwesttiming.com.

At the Tyson Invitational, events get underway at 2:15 p.m. on Friday and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Both days will be streamed live on SECN+. Friday’s broadcast begins at 4 p.m., while Saturday’s broadcast starts at 1 p.m. Live results for the Tyson Invitational can be found on flashresults.com.

The two-day Iowa State Classic is set for a noon start on Friday and Saturday. A live stream is available on FloTrack.org, while live results are available on pttiming.com. Representing the Huskers at the Iowa State Classic are Erika Freyhof, Hannah Godwin and Bailey Timmons in the distance events.
