The Nebraska women’s gymnastics team (6-10, 4-4 Big Ten) fell to No. 12 Oregon State, No. 14 Denver and No. 18 Arkansas in the regular season finale. The Huskers notched a 195.750 Sunday afternoon in Denver, Colo.
Kinsey Davis led the Huskers on beam with a 9.900 to finish in third. Kaitlyn Higgins had the high score for NU on floor with a 9.875.
Arkansas claimed the team title with a 196.975. Oregon State followed in second with a 196.875 and Denver finished with a 196.800.
Rotation One
The Huskers started on floor, earning a team score of 48.650. Emma Spence led the afternoon off with a 9.750. Ayzhia Hall followed with a 9.500 while Katie Kuenemann earned a 9.600. Makayla Curtis notched a 9.650 while Kylie Piringer tallied a 9.775. Kaitlyn Higgins finished the rotation with a 9.875.
Denver started on vault, earning a team score of 49.075. Rylie Mundell led with a 9.950. Mundell claimed a share of the title with Jade Carey of Oregon State.
Arkansas started on uneven bars, earning a team score of uneven bars, finishing with a 49.075. Leah Smith led the Razorbacks with a 9.850.
Oregon State started on balance beam, earning a team score of 49.475. Jade Carey and Madi Dagen led the Beavers with a 9.950. The two OSU gymnasts claimed a share of the event title.
Rotation Two
In rotation two, NU competed on vault, and earned a team score of 49.00. Kinsey Davis led Nebraska with a 9.875. Ayzhia Hall followed with a 9.825. Kylie Piringer and Emma Spence each notched a 9.775. Martina Comin earned a 9.750 while Makayla Curtis finished the rotation with a 9.725.
Denver competed on uneven bars, earning a 49.175. Rosie Casali and Jessica Hutchinson led the Pioneers with a 9.875.
Oregon State competed on floor, earning a 49.075. Jade Carey led the Beavers with a 9.950. The 2020 Tokyo Olympian claimed the event title.
Arkansas competed on beam, earning a 49.050. Amanda Elswick led the Razorbacks with a 9.875.
Rotation Three
On uneven bars, the Big Red had a total of 48.925 for the team score. Kathryn Thaler started the rotation off with a 9.800. Kinsey Davis and Kynsee Roby both followed with a 9.800. Clara Colombo notched a 9.775 while Emma Spence earned a 9.750. Emma Simpton rounded out the rotation with a 9.725.
Denver competed on the balance beam in rotation three. The Pioneers earned a 49.400. Leading DU was Momoko Iwai and Bella Mabanti, who each notched a 9.875.
Oregon State competed on vault in rotation three. The Beavers earned a 49.300. Jade Carey led OSU with a 9.950. Carey claimed the event title.
Arkansas competed on floor in rotation three. The Razorbacks earned a 49.275. Kennedy Hambrick, Maddie Jones and Leah Smith all notched a 9.875.
Rotation Four
The Huskers finished the meet on balance beam, earning a team score of 49.175. Makayla Curtis earned a 9.825 while Emma Spence earned a 9.525. Kaitlyn Higgins and Kynsee Roby each notched a 9.800 while Kathryn Thaler tallied a 9.850. Kinsey Davis led NU with a 9.900.
On floor, Denver earned a team score of 49.150. Jessica Hutchinson led the Pioneers with a 9.900.
On uneven bars, Oregon State earned a 49.025. Jade Carey led the Beavers with a 9.950, claiming the title.
On vault, Arkansas earned a 49.500. Amanda Elswick, Kennedy Hambrick, Savannah Pennese and Sarah Shaffer all notched a 9.925.
All-Around
For Nebraska, freshman Emma Spence competed in the all-around, earning a 38.800 to finish in seventh.
Jade Carey of Oregon State claimed the all-around title with 39.800.

The Huskers will travel to Columbus, Ohio for the Big Ten Championships on Saturday, March 19. The meet is set to start at 1 p.m. CT and will be broadcasted live on the Big Ten Network.
