Nebraska Football: Will Honas Coming Back for 2021 Season Husker Nebraska News Scott Frost Marquel Dismuke Cam Taylor-Britt Deontai Williams JoJo Domann

Sounds like it might be a roller coaster of emotions for Nebraska football today.

Senior inside linebacker Will Honas has announced that he is planning on returning to play for Nebraska for the 2021 season.

So he joins Cam Taylor-Britt, Jojo Domann, Marquel Dismuke and Deontai Williams in announcing they are coming back.

Rumors of toxicity in North Stadium appears to not have leeched onto the defensive side of the ball.

Honas transferred from junior college and injured his knee his first year on campus. In 2020, it looked like things clicked for Honas as he was an Honorable-Mention All-Big Ten. He finished second on the team with 57 total tackles and led the Huskers with 6.5 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks.

Is Ben Stille going to be next?

This is an opportunity for Nebraska to really build that depth going forward. Even with these guys coming back there should be opportunities for younger guys to rotate in as well. This could be a great step forward for the program defensively.

Now about that offense…
