Martin to Compete at IBF U21 World Championships

Nebraska incoming freshman Jillian Martin will represent Junior Team USA this week at the 2022 International Bowling Federation U21 World Championships.

The event will be held at Olympia Bowling in Helsingborg, Sweden, from June 21-29, with competition being contested in singles, doubles, team and mixed team events. This is the first Junior Team USA event since 2019 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Martin, who signed with the Huskers last November, is a three-year member of Junior Team USA. In 2021, she became the youngest bowler to ever win a Professional Women’s Bowling Association national event, winning the PWBA BowlTV Classic last August as a 17-year-old.  It was one of Martin’s three top-three finishes on the PWBA tour in 2021. She will make her Husker debut this fall.
