Huskers Travel to Wisconsin Invitational



Prior to the start of the 2021 regular season, the Nebraska women’s tennis team will travel to Madison, Wisc., for the Wisconsin Invitational on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Over the weekend, the Huskers will face off against Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa in a hidden-dual format. NU will meet all three of these opponents twice during the regular season which is set to begin Feb. 12.

Nebraska will start competition on Friday taking on Minnesota in doubles at 1 p.m., followed by singles play against Wisconsin. The Huskers begin Saturday with doubles against Wisconsin at 1 p.m., followed by singles against Iowa. The invitational concludes Sunday as NU takes on Minnesota in singles at 9 a.m., and doubles against Iowa at noon.

The Huskers return eight athletes from 2020 and welcome three newcomers to the squad.
