Husker Soccer Schedule Unveiled – University of Nebraska

The Nebraska soccer team is set to play 11 conference games this spring, as the Big Ten released its 2020-21 women’s soccer schedule on Friday. The announcement comes after the fall 2020 season was postponed by the Big Ten due to COVID-19.

The Huskers open with three consecutive road matches, beginning on Saturday, Feb. 20 at Minnesota. NU visits Michigan State (Feb. 25) and Ohio State (Feb. 28) before playing its first of six home contests during the season.

Nebraska’s home slate begins with matchups against Purdue (March 4), Michigan (March 7) and Wisconsin (March 13). The Huskers visit Illinois on March 18 before traveling to Northwestern for a match on March 21.

Nebraska closes its regular season with a three-game home stand, beginning on March 25 against Rutgers. NU also hosts Penn State (March 28) and Iowa (April 3).

Following the 11-game conference-only schedule, a wildcard weekend, consisting of one or two non-conference matchups, will be held April 8-11. Information will be announced at a later date.

The Big Ten Tournament will be played April 15-18, consisting of semifinals and a championship game, played at the highest remaining seed.
