Husker Distance Set to Compete in Indiana



Nebraska track and field’s distance runners will compete at the Indiana Big Ten Invitational #2 in Bloomington, Indiana this weekend. 

This weekend’s meet was originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday but will now be contested on Friday only due to Saturday’s weather forecast. Track events at the Robert C. Haugh Complex get underway at 2:10 p.m. (CT) on Friday. Live results can be followed here. 

Sixteen Huskers will be in action at the Huskers’ third outdoor meet of the season. Kaitlynn Johnson, Lindsey Blehm and Emma Bresser will start the day off for the Big Red in the 800 meters at 3:50 p.m. (CT). The final event of the day for the Huskers will be the 10,000 meters featuring Mark Freyhof at 8:45 p.m.
