3-star receiver Bryson Hayes commits to Nebraska football

Two days, two 2025 commits at receiver.

On Sunday, Maize (Kan.) wideout Bryson Hayes announced his decision to pick the Huskers.

A three-star prospect according to major recruiting services, the 6-foot, 180-pounder pledged to the Huskers over Kansas State, Kansas and Iowa State, the other three teams that had extended Hayes an offer.

Across the last two seasons at Maize — just outside of Wichita — Hayes has caught 79 passes for 1,544 yards and 18 touchdowns. Nearly one out of every four of Hayes’ catches have been for touchdowns. Hayes recently ran a 10.69-second 100-meter dash, as well.

He’s the fifth commit in NU’s 2025 class and the second receiver in as many days. On Saturday, Lincoln Southwest athlete Jackson Carpenter – son of former Husker tight end Tim Carpenter — committed to the class.
