Troyer Wraps Up at Winter Nationals

Nebraska diver Sara Troyer competed Thursday morning in the one-meter and Friday morning in the three-meter at the 2021 USA Diving Winter National Championships, held in Bloomington, Ind.

“Sara looked really strong this whole week,” Nebraska head diving coach Landon Marzullo said. “This meet was arguably the biggest stage she has been on and she held her own. Sara showed a lot of improvements on what we have been working on and I think we are both excited for what the rest of the year has in store for her.”

Troyer, a senior from Goshen, Ind., notched a top-25 finish in the three-meter dive this morning, placing 22nd with a 215.90. On Thursday, Troyer finished 26th in the one-meter with a 215.90.

The Husker divers are set to compete next in Los Angeles, Calif. at the UCLA Diving Invitational from Jan. 14-16.
