NU Closes Out Home Schedule Against Indiana, Purdue

The No. 47 ranked Nebraska men’s tennis team (10-7, 2-2 Big Ten) plays its final home matches of the 2022-23 season this weekend at the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center. NU will face No. 75 Indiana on Friday, April 2 at 5 p.m. CT, before matching up with the Boilermakers on Sunday for Senior Day at 12 p.m. CT. • Indiana enters the Friday night match coming off a 4-0 win over St. Louis this past Sunday.
• The Hoosiers’ lone conference win came on the road against Purdue, which Indiana won 7-0.

Nebraska is 3-8 all-time against Indiana. The Huskers won the most recent matchup 4-2 in Bloomington, Ind., in April of 2022. Prior to that victory, the Huskers lost six-straight matches to Indiana.

• Purdue enters its week of play on a two-match losing streak.

• The Boilermaker’s most recent win came on March 26, when they defeated Butler 4-3.

The Huskers are currently ranked No. 47 in the ITA team rankings after a 1-1 week, including a 5-1 win over No. 73 Penn State and 7-0 loss to the No. 2 Ohio State.
