Not a Nebraska fan, but I have a good Corey Schlesinger story for you folks.

Corey or as I knew him Mr. Schlesinger was my homeroom teacher in high school. Usually we had nothing to do in homeroom so most kids would finish homework from the day before.

A lot of the boys in my class would always pry at him to put on some old lions highlights of him. (We live in Michigan so we dont care about the huskers! Sorry!)

He said no, but he would show us one highlight. From his fav game. the 1995 college national championship game.

He went to YouTube and typed in his own name and low and behold, he found a highlight tape from the game and narrated the whole video as it was playing.

The part of the video comes where Schlesinger runs over ray lewis (on miami) to win the game, and Slesh had the biggest smile on his face while watching that.

Just thought of that little story and a cool moment I got to see, of a top level athlete reliving his glory days in front of us. Definitely surreal.

Im not sure how much traction this post will gain if any, but if anyone has any questions about him Id be glad to answer. He was super nice, but definitely had a hard time remembering kids names and stuff-im sure from football.
