Nebrasketball: JPJ and the Huskers beat the Maryland Terps at Home

Nebraska hadn’t beaten Maryland at home since joining the Big Ten, that changed tonight

Things started out slow for both teams, but a hot start by Isaac Copeland would ensue for the Huskers. Copeland scored the teams first 4 points, ending with 6 points and 4 rebounds at the U16 media timeout.

Even though Cope caught fire, the rest of Nebraska and Maryland didn’t, with the score 10-7 at the U12 media timeout and the teams a combined 8-24 from the field.

The game went awry for a little bit as Bruno Fernando started to bully Isaiah Roby in the post, but a three by Cope and a poster dunk from James Palmer Jr. gave the Huskers a one point lead with 3:30 to go:
