Huskers Travel to Wisconsin for Badger Invitational



While awaiting the release of its full 2021 schedule, the Nebraska men’s tennis team will compete at the Badger Invitational on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Madison, Wis. Joining the Huskers in kicking off the 2021 season will be host Wisconsin, along with fellow Big Ten foes Indiana and Minnesota.

Nebraska will take on Wisconsin in doubles play on Thursday at 6 p.m. The next day, Nebraska will face the Badgers in singles action at 9 a.m., followed by a doubles competition with Minnesota at 1 p.m. On Saturday, the Huskers will face Indiana on the doubles court at 1 p.m. before concluding the day with a singles competition against Minnesota at 1:45 p.m. Nebraska wraps up the weekend on Sunday at 9 a.m. with a singles match against Indiana.

The Huskers return eight of their nine players from last season, while welcoming a pair of newcomers.

Thursday, Jan. 28

Nebraska at Wisconsin (doubles), 6 p.m.

 

Friday, Jan. 29

Nebraska at Wisconsin (singles), 9 a.m.

Nebraska vs. Minnesota (doubles), 1 p.m.

 

Saturday, Jan. 30

Nebraska vs. Indiana (doubles), 1 p.m.

Nebraska vs. Minnesota (singles), 1 :45 p.m.

 

Sunday, Jan. 31

Nebraska vs. Indiana (singles), 9 a.m.
