Huskers Rank Fourth in CGA Preseason Coaches Poll

The Nebraska men’s gymnastics team was ranked No. 4 in the College Gymnastics Association preseason coaches poll released on Tuesday.

The Huskers were 7-2 in 2020 before the season ended early due to the coronavirus pandemic. NU was ranked fourth in the CGA poll at the end of 2020 and will return all gymnasts for the 2021 season.

Stanford will open the season as the preseason No.1-ranked team. Oklahoma and Michigan followed Stanford in the top three.

The Huskers will open the 2020-21 season with a meet against No. 3-ranked Michigan on Jan. 24 at the Devaney Center. Nebraska’s 6-meet Big Ten-only schedule features two meets against teams ranked in the top 5 and four meets against teams in the top 10.
