Frosted Flakes: Nebraska State Park Travels

I’ve spent the last week traveling across the northern part of Nebraska and enjoying some state parks. We spent a few days with friends at Ponca State Park to start it off. My kids said the pool was the best part there.

Then we traveled with my parents across the entire state to Fort Robinson. I think tubing or a jeep ride up in the buttes were the favorites at Fort Robinson.

As we traveled across the state I made sure we made a few Nebraska Passport stops along the way. My favorite passport stop was Smith Falls. If you haven’t been there, I recommend it. It is beautiful and the waterfall was especially refreshing on the hot day that we were there.

I am continually amazed at all of the cool places there are across the state and can’t wait to see more. Do you have any hidden gems that I should know about?

Here are your flakes.
