Frosted Flakes: Are You Still Eating Turkey Sandwiches?

I hope everyone had a happy Thankgiving. We had the most gorgeous weather in northeast Nebraska to go along with some family time. We didn’t travel to see anyone – we figured with two college kids coming home and me being on a college campus for a class I teach would be too high risk for visiting my parents.

We are definitely enjoying the leftover turkey. Grilled turkey sandwiches yesterday, turkey rice soup today. Some turkey is going in the freezer – even with all the ranchhands home, we won’t get it all eaten before everyone is tired of it.

We also got a bit of a scare with Ranchhand 3 who suffered a back injury that is likely to put an end to his basketball season before it has even started. Fortunately we have 1 and 2 home for a few weeks to take over chores (they were thrilled about that).

Have a great week Corn Nation!
