Friday Flakes: Matt Rhule Does Not Want to Find a Starter at Quarterback During Spring Football Huskers News

If you love Quarterback competitions then go ahead and pay attention to the Huskers this spring as Matt Rhule doesn’t expect the find a starter at the quarterback position. He expects that this three way competition will go all the way into fall camp.

Yesterday during the media availability session Rhule said the following regarding the quarterbacks, “We’re not here to pick the starter, we’re here to get them all good enough to be the starter.”

He reiterated that the goal of this spring is to simply raise the level of the entire quarterback room.

Get all the quarterbacks better and then figure out who the starter is in the fall.

I like it.
