Am I Being Shadowbanned? The Answer Might Surprise You

Just kidding, the answer is no.

Anyways here’s a friendly reminder that we use an automod to filter new accounts based on karma and account age requirements.

If your account is under a week old, your comments/submissions will not appear on the sub unless you’re already at a minimum amount of karma.

We implemented this about two falls ago and the amount of trolls/assholes/busted hot takes across the sub and game threads dropped immediately.

So if you’re a new community member wondering why your comments aren’t gaining traction; first off, thanks for joining us and, secondly, just breathe and enjoy the sub for a week.

For 95% of the current sub, this will never affect you but I figured I’d provide some clarity. I’ll try to post a reminder a few weeks out from the fall season to give the wittle bb accwounts a heads up 🥺

Otherwise, hope everybody’s winter is going well. We have a shitpost weekend coming next month and a State of the Sub community suggestion and feedback thread sometime in April near the Spring Game.
