Teddy Bear Drug Bust

The teddy bear is the culprit in the latest Lancaster County Sheriff’s drug bust. Sheriff Terry Wagner says that when deputies stopped a car on I-80 west of northwest I-80 on a traffic stop, they detected a strong smell of marijuana in the car.

A search of the vehicle found four pounds of marijuana valued at around $25,000 inside a huge teddy bear in the trunk of the car. Sheriff Wagner says that it is the first time he has encountered such a hiding place for drugs. Two California men were arrested.
