Live From BugahaWest: A Merry Christmas and Win in Jacksonville

Dear Fellow Husker fans,

As we have now come to bowl season I do things a bit different than others.  Some give out best of ideas, me personally I give out virtual gifts under my Christmas tree.  Granted this year’s real tree is plenty smaller than previous years (the 6 footer had to give way to a smaller 2 foot tree (that’s what lack of room does) but that just means the floor is overflowing with gifts.  So, without hesitation, lets get to the gift giving.

First gift is one that has been given many times in previous years, to the troops overseas and their families waiting safe stateside, peace of mind, God;s blessings, and knowledge that there is a family in SE Arizona that all we can give is our heart felt thanks for your sacrifice.  Thank you.

Second, to Randy Gregory:  Pick up that Blackshirt T-shirt and add the defensive captain’s “C” for next year.  Yes, I am begging you to give me a early Christmas gift and say you’re coming back next year.

Third, to Ameer Abdullah:  Just add the offensive captain’s “C” for next year.  Yes, I am begging you to give me a early gift and say you’re coming back next year.

Fourth, to the Bo haters:  Peace of mind and take a breather.  He is a good coach

Fifth, to Bo Pelini:  Work a tad harder on the temper.  I’ll be honest when I say I think there are times you need to take a step back and if you feel yourself going to the boiling point, call an assistant over and let him chew some ref butt.

Sixth, to Jack Hoffman:  Plenty of memories from the run and it’s aftermath.  Also, continued good news in regards to your cancer fight.  Here’s to many more happy Christmases to you and your family.

Seventh, to Tommy Armstrong and Johnny Stanton, a good run through the playbook and a very well done QB competiton come next spring.

Eighth, to all my readers here at Huskerspot.  A pleasant Christmas to you and your family.  Also, may the new year be better than the old.

God bless and Go Big Red.

-Chris
