Creighton Blasts Nebraska, Clinches Season Series With 12-9 Victory

Not a pretty game

Lincoln, NE- Creighton slid by Nebraska on Tuesday night 12-9 to clinch the season series. Nebraska was dominated early on Tuesday night, and they continue to look lifeless after dropping a key series against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights over the weekend.

Nate Fisher started for the Huskers and gave up nine runs in four plus innings. Behind Fisher, Mike Waldron, Andrew Abrahamowicz, Keegan Watson, Byron Hood, Ben Klenke, and Jake Hohensee the Huskers got shelled for 11 runs.

After blowing a 4-2 lead Sunday in the rubber match Sunday, Nebraska fell behind early again on Tuesday night. Creighton struck Fisher for a pair of runs in the first inning. A double, an error, and then a pair of singles got Creighton a 2-0 lead before most fans had settled into their seats.
