Video: Nebraska’s Ameer Abdullah Breaks 5 Tackles On The Way To A 58 Yard Game-Winning Touchdown Reception

Things had been too close for comfort for Nebraska all afternoon against FCS squad McNeese State, but when they needed him the most, star running back Ameer Abdullah broke off a ridiculous 58-yard touchdown. Abdullah, who is making his mark as one of the nation’s best skill position players in 2014, broke five tackles on the go-ahead touchdown, giving the Cornhuskers a 31-24 lead with just 20 seconds left in the game. The score would prove to be the game winner.

While Huskers fans can’t be thrilled with the effort, Abdullah’s massive play is sure to put a smile on some faces in Lincoln. We know one guy who is happy:

THAT WAS LITERALLY THE GREATEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED

Abdullah finished with 54 rushing yards and 96 receiving yards, and two touchdowns in the game.
