USA Volleyball team for FIVB Volleyball Nations League Tournament features five former Huskers

USA Volleyball has announced its 30 player roster for the FIVB Volleyball Nations League Tournament, which will be played in Lincoln this summer. The Women’s team, led by head coach Karch Kiraly, features five former Huskers; Justine Wong-Orantes, Mikaela Foecke, Jordan Larson, Kadie Rolfzen and Kelsey Robinson.

The VNL will take place at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Featuring 16 teams, the tournament uses a round-robin elimination system to determine who advances from each group, or “pod,” according to a press release.

The U.S. women will begin play against the No. 9 team (South) Korea on June 4. They’ll take on No. 13 Germany on June 5 and square off with No. 4 Brazil on June 7. The 30 player roster will eventually be reduced down to 25 players come May 11.
