Trey McGowens on Creighton matchup: “We’re the 2 big schools so we share fans, ‘Jayskers’ I guess. We’re gonna try and bring it home for the Husker fans.”

Also added that he has taken leadership role and has tried to teach teammates of the importance of this game. Said he wrote some stuff on the white board about the rivalry to get the boys amped up.

Also said he and Alonzo Verge Jr had a private meeting to talk about how they both need to focus more on getting shooters involved and not just forcing shots.

Just some interesting bits I took from his presser cause I’m excited for the game tomorrow :/
