I’m a little concerned with the phrase “turning a corner”. So many times it puts pressure on a single major win and then suddenly you’ve “turned the corner”. I feel that is too abrupt and in hindsight a lot of times not a true sign of progress and stability. We haven’t gotten the wins the last few weeks we want but to me what has happened is hopeful and more comforting than a “program changing” win, only to learn 2 games later it was a fluke. It’s progress. It’s consistency. We are consistently improving in the areas we are weak and building on the areas we are strong. How our team has competed toe to toe with not 1 top 10 team this year, but 3 is inspiring. Good things are ahead, but it depends on the coaching staff and players staying focused the remainder of this year and in the offseason. There will be a day, no…a SEASON, when we stop the self inflicted wounds and these games are no longer coin flips. Boy will it be glorious
