So, so many Husker fans are going to come to the UCLA games

Alum living in LA. I’ve been going with my wife and friends (Berkeley grads) to Cal-UCLA since we moved here. In case you don’t know about SoCal geography: The Rose Bowl stadium is way, waaaaay across town from the UCLA campus, forever in freeway traffic. Combined with the fact that Bruin football isn’t a very big a deal compared to other sports here, it means not that many people make the journey and the Rose Bowl is often half-empty. According to the official numbers it was less than half-full for the Cal game last year, and even during a nice 8-4 season for UCLA, they were still 20 or 30,000 below capacity when they hosted high-profile teams like LSU and Oregon. This despite the fact that a boatload of people in purple came out for a rare LSU visit to the west coast.

All this to say, looking forward to seeing everyone in 2020-something. It’ll be very weird to watch all of you decked out head-to-toe in scarlet & cream stumbling out of the bars in Old Town Pasadena.
