Question RE: Gameday Watch parties at Bars in Omaha

I don’t know a lot about watch party or say “Husker” bars on gameday. At these locations do they reserve the right to not allow opposing/rival/or non-Husker fans?

Ultimately trying to determine the veracity of what I was told. This was that a couple up here for a soccer tournament were wearing Missouri Tiger gear, went into a bar and were told to leave as soon as they walked in. (Apparently they did leave and found the experience funny).

I hate Mizzou more than most, but I found it to be weird that a team we haven’t played in 13 years would elicit getting kicked out.

Is this common? Or should I find the story suspect?
