The Husker pipeline was well represented on offense in Week 16, with Nick Gates (Giants) playing the entire game. Gates started at center and helped the Giants account for 306 total yards.

Defensively, Lavonte David (Bucs) and Randy Gregory (Cowboys) were standouts. David started at inside linebacker, playing nearly the entire game and notching five total tackles and a forced fumble. Randy Gregory came in early on the defensive line and forced three fumbles, while also totaling five tackles, including 1.5 sacks. Gregory also deflected one pass.

On special teams, Sam Koch (Ravens) punted twice for 68 total yards, including a long of 40 yards and downed one punt inside the Giants’ 20 yard line.

CB Lamar Jackson: Saw action on 5 special teams snaps.

DL Maliek Collins: After returning from injury, played 23 snaps on the defensive line and an additional 7 on special teams.

OL Richie Incognito: Did Not Play (Injured Reserve).

Baltimore Ravens (W, 27-13 vs. New York Giants) 

P Sam Koch: Punted twice on the day, averaging 34 yards per punt. Included a long of 40 and one downed inside the New York 20-yard line.

Cincinnati Bengals (W, 37-31 at Houston)

TE Cethan Carter: Made a solo tackle on special teams, while also helping the offense on 24 snaps.

WR Stanley Morgan Jr.: Saw action on 28 total snaps, including 10 with the offense at wide receiver.

DL Freedom Akinmoladun: Did Not Play (Practice Squad)

Cleveland Browns (L, 23-16 at New York Jets)

FB Andy Janovich: Played a total of 33 snaps, including 11 on offense.
   

steelers

Pittsburgh Steelers (W, 28-24 vs. Indianapolis)

DL Carlos Davis: Made two tackles on defense.



AFC SOUTH

Houston Texans (W, 37-31 vs. Cincinnati)

OL Brent Qvale: Started at left guard and played 15 snaps before leaving the game with an injury (concussion).

Jacksonville Jaguars (L, 41-17 vs. Chicago)

RB Devine Ozigbo: Caught one pass for three yards and played an additional 10 snaps on special teams.

CB Joshua Kalu: Saw action on nine special teams snaps.

LB Will Compton: Made a special teams tackle, playing 20 snaps.

dallas cowboys

Dallas Cowboys (W, 37-17 vs. Philadelphia)

LB Luke Gifford: After returning from the inactive list, made two solo special teams tackles, playing a total of 18 snaps.

DE Randy Gregory: In a breakout game, Gregory forced three fumbles, totaled six tackles, and deflected one pass. Accounted for 1.5 sacks for 14 yards.

Philadelphia Eagles (L, 37-17 at Dallas)

LB Nathan Gerry: Did Not Play (Injured Reserve)

OL Nick Gates: Started at center and played the entire game. Helped the Giants rush for 54 yards and earn an additional 252 yards through the air.

San Francisco 49ers (W, 20-12 at Arizona)

DL Darrion Daniels: After being activated from the practice squad, made two tackles on defense and saw action on 22 snaps.

RB Ameer Abdullah: Rushed once for 13 yards, playing 11 snaps on offense. Also saw action on 16 special teams snaps.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (W, 47-7 at Detroit)

LB Lavonte David: Started at inside linebacker and played nearly the entire game. Helped lead the way on defense with five total tackles and a forced fumble.

DL Khalil Davis: Did Not Play (Inactive).

 

DT Ndamukong Suh: Started on the defensive line and played 34 snaps. Totaled two tackles and a pass deflection.
