The Husker pipeline was well represented on offense in Week 16, with Nick Gates (Giants) playing the entire game. Gates started at center and helped the Giants account for 306 total yards.
Defensively, Lavonte David (Bucs) and Randy Gregory (Cowboys) were standouts. David started at inside linebacker, playing nearly the entire game and notching five total tackles and a forced fumble. Randy Gregory came in early on the defensive line and forced three fumbles, while also totaling five tackles, including 1.5 sacks. Gregory also deflected one pass.
On special teams, Sam Koch (Ravens) punted twice for 68 total yards, including a long of 40 yards and downed one punt inside the Giants’ 20 yard line.
