Potential Transfer QBs

With confirmation of the Whipple and Riaola hires, we have most of the new offensive coaches hired and we have a pretty good idea of what to expect next which is a transfer QB. So who does Nebraska go out and get? Here are some of the rumored QBs we could see:

[Jack Miller III from OSU](https://247sports.com/player/jack-miller-46037839/) : Pro style QB which could fit into Whipple’s system better and take better advantage of our tall WRs, lower rating than 2AM or Logan, lost the QB battle to CJ Stroud so might have a chip on his shoulder and something to prove in the B1G, has four years eligibility left that he could drive Logan to transfer.

[Zach Gibson from Akron](https://247sports.com/player/zach-gibson-86510/) : Pro style QB, again which fits a system that in 2022 I think we should all expect to be heavier on the passing, 3 star coming out of HS, stats are pretty hum-drum at Akron, its been mentioned that NU could take two transfer QBs with Gibson filling the backup roll.

[Max Johnson from LSU](https://247sports.com/Player/Max-Johnson-89241/) : Pro Style QB, (seeing a trend here?), Huskers are going hard in LA, including with Max’s brother and a couple of other de-commits from LSU, played below expectations at LSU, maybe the sell is that Whipple can bring out his potential like with Pickett

[Chubba Purdy from FSU](https://247sports.com/Player/Chubba-Purdy-46076928/) : Duel QB, 4 star out of HS, by all accounts Frost and Whipple both just met with him recently in AZ, more natural fit for what we’ve done before, four years of eligibility left

[Myles Brennan from LSU](https://247sports.com/Player/Myles-Brennan-78201/) : Pro Style QB, 4 star coming out of HS, underperformed at LSU compared to expectations, sort of the same sell as Max Johnson, maybe Whipple can coach him up? Limited remaining eligibility means we could keep Logan potentially

[Jacob Zeno from Baylor](https://247sports.com/player/jacob-zeno-94016/) : Pro Style QB, 4 star coming out of Texas HS, three years of eligibility left means if he’s good then we have time to develop other QBs,

[Quinn Ewers from OSU](https://247sports.com/player/quinn-ewers-45572600/) : No, he’s not coming to Nebraska, he’s going back to Texas somewhere, stop asking about him on this sub, seriously, he’s not coming to Nebraska.

[Michael Penix Jr from Indiana](https://247sports.com/player/michael-penix-jr-83921/) : Pro Style QB, grad transfer from Indiana, spent most of last season hurt, but most of us have seen his highlights around the B1G over the last couple of years, could be the seasoned pro style Qb that could benefit from Whipple’s tutoring and a bunch of tall WR’s, only one year of eligibility left means we don’t have to sacrifice the QB room

[Spencer Rattler from OU](https://247sports.com/Player/Spencer-Rattler-87297/) : Pro Style QB, 5 star coming out of HS in AZ, obviously we’ve all seen him play, most indications are that he’s going to UCLA to try and ruin Lincoln Riley’s life, but he could be incredible here if his attitude isn’t as toxic as rumored,
