Nebraska Volleyball: Offense is the focus for Huskers ahead of Red-White scrimmage

The start of the 2023 season is just around the corner for the No. 5-ranked Nebraska volleyball program as the Huskers officially begin their new campaign with the annual Red-White scrimmage on Saturday at the Devaney Center.

NU welcomes in six newcomers in hopes of offsetting last year’s disappointing end at the hands of a five-set loss to Oregon in the Sweet 16. With a Brazil international trip and more than a week of fall camp under his team’s belt, Nebraska head coach John Cook met with the media to preview the scrimmage and what the Huskers have been up to in the buildup to another season. Here’s what we learned:
