NU Keeps Third Place in January Poll



Lincoln, Neb – The Nebraska bowling team kept their third place seat in the National Ten Pin Coaches Association (NTCA) January Poll where they received six out of 39 first place votes and 1,294 points. 

The Huskers have taken home three tournament titles so far this season at the Bearcat Hammer Open, Track Kat Klash, and Motiv Ladyjack Classic. The McKendree Bearcats claim the number one spot in the poll with 15 first place votes and 1,397 points. Sam Houston State fell the second place with 17 first place votes and 1,365 points. Vanderbilt (1,224) and Louisiana Tech (1,059) move up to take fourth and fifth place. 

Nebraska will return to the lanes following winter break, February 18-20, at the Mid-Winter Invitational in Jonesboro, Ark.
