The Husker football Twitter Account revealed the Huskers alternate uniform for 2019 Monday morning. The Blackshirt inspired uniform, images of which leaked on social media platforms last week, features the skull and crossbones on the shoulders, has a black top and white pants.
The “N” on the helmet is black. The numerals on the front and back of the jersey are white and the numbers on the shoulders are red.

Speaking to reporters shortly after the alternate uniforms were announced, defensive coordinator Erik Chinander said he was impressed with the Blackshirt inspired design.
“I haven’t seen them up close yet but I think it’s pretty cool that Coach (Scott) Frost has embraced that tradition,” Chinander said.
When Nebraska will wear the uniforms has not yet been announced.
