Nebraska Football Insights and Laughs From ‘Bussin’ With the Boys’

In his post-football life, former Nebraska linebacker Will Compton has not exactly faded into obscurity. In fact, he’s as visible as ever in his second career as a YouTube figure. That’s thanks to the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast, where Compton teams up with his former Tennessee Titans teammate Taylor Lewan for entertaining takes on sports and star-studded interviews.

The Bussin‘ crew recently rolled into Lincoln, Neb., for a “spring tour” stop at Compton’s alma mater. A wealth of video footage from their time at Nebraska is now available.

While in Lincoln, Compton and another former Titan, Delanie Walker, did a live show on the stage of a local theater featuring the Huskers’ head football coach himself, Matt Rhule. They also toured the new $165 million Nebraska football facility with Rhule and sat down with a few players for interviews.

One of those players was none other than Dylan Raiola. Raiola is the five-star quarterback who shocked the recruiting world by flipping from Georgia to Nebraska just days before signing with the Huskers last December. Since then, the true freshman has made headlines for his tightly threaded throws and his seemingly smooth transition to college ball as he competes this spring for the Huskers’ starting QB job. You can watch his interview with Compton and Walker at this link.

Compton and Walker also sat down with Heinrich Haarberg, last year’s primary starter at quarterback for Nebraska, and Nash Hutmacher, the defensive tackle and wrestler known as the Polar Bear. Go to this link for the video.

Another video includes a nearly 40-minute interview with Rhule. Rhule gets into how disappointing it was to miss a bowl game last season after starting 5-3. He talks about what his first year at Nebraska taught him, his thoughts on the NIL world and a lot more. Go to this link to watch.

Last but certainly not least is a 35-minute production titled “Matt Rhule Shows Off $165 Million Facilities & Crashes Our Live Show.” There’s a lot to see, including uphill footraces inside the facility involving Compton, Walker and even Rhule himself, who is in his second season working to turn the Nebraska program around. Watch it at this link.
