Nebraska Beats Rutgers 27-17 – Post Game Thread

It’s a Win!!!!!

It wasn’t pretty, and it wasn’t stylish, but it was a win. That’s all that counts this season.

Nebraska’s offense once again sputtered, but the Scarlet Knights sputtered more as Rutgers could manage only xxx total yards, and 10 points. The Husker defense held quarterback Kyle Bolin to 15-for-29 passing for 126 yards, two interceptions and a touchdown. Rutgers’ leading rusher was Gus Edwards, who managed 58 yards on 15 carries for a 3.9 yard per carry average. Edwards scored Rutgers only touchdown.

The Husker offense wasn’t a thing of beauty either. Tanner Lee was 13-for-26 for 109 yards for two touchdowns and two interceptions, one of which was returned for another pick six. Lee is on his way to probably being the best pick six-throwing sonfoabitch in college football history.
