The Nebraska basketball team has landed a commitment from Dalano Banton, a transfer from Western Kentucky, the player announced on his Twitter page Wednesday afternoon.
This past season, Banton appeared in 31 games for the Hilltoppers, averaging 3 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists per game. He’ll sit out next season but has three years of eligibility remaining, according to Chris Basnett of the Lincoln Journal Star.
The 6-foot-8 point guard is from Toronto, Canada. He’s the fourth transfer to commit to NU since Fred Hoiberg took over as head coach of Nebraska in late March.
