Mickey for head coach?

I really like Mickey but we are getting way ahead of ourselves with the MJ for HC talk. Being a good head coach is all about having a long term vision, building a program and developing talent over 3-5 years. Being a good interim is mostly trying to make chicken salad out of someone else’s chicken _____. An interim doesn’t get to pick his scheme, his assistants or his players. A good interim is likely a guy who’s most comfortable dealing with chaos, not necessarily the best long term program builder. I mean Orgeron is one of the best interims ever but also likely one of the most disorganized people on earth. I’m not saying don’t give the job to MJ, but we need to slow our roll, have interviews and then if Mickey seems to be the best option good for him, but the hiring decision shouldn’t be based on what he does or doesn’t do as interim
