James Williams

With a really small sample size, I’m really impressed with this kid. With the limited snaps he was in against Purdue, I noticed him I think just about every play he was in. He was really close to a couple more sacks. With an off-season adding more weight, getting stronger and more explosive, he’s going to get really hard to defend. It sounds like he has a ton of talent and has hamstrung himself with some self inflicted disciplinary issues in his past. This is where Rhule and his culture building and leadership really shines and creates an environment where everyone involved from staff to players gets the best out of each other and plays to their maximum potential. It didn’t work with Arik Gilbert (first time I’ve though about him in a few weeks). I know this is a huge stretch right now, but I see some Max Crosby in him.
