The Buckeyes held the lead until the 18th minute when junior Eleanor Dale scored the equalizer. Sophomore Jordan Zade sent the throw into the penalty box, which was gathered by junior Reagan Raabe. Raabe then passed to Dale who made the sliding shot with her right foot and scored into the top left corner of the net.

In the second half, OSU regained the lead with a finish in the 59th minute by Kayla Fischer, assisted by Emma Sears. The 2-1 score remained until the Huskers recorded another equalizer with a goal by Weber in the 86th minute. Sophomore Florence Belzile started the play for the Huskers as she dribbled through the Buckeye defense and made a pass to fellow sophomore Abbey Schwarz. Schwarz gathered and shot the ball into the goal box which was headed by Weber past the OSU goalie and into the net.

Junior goalkeeper Sami Hauk, who secured two saves on the day, was one of four Huskers to play the full 90 minutes as she was joined by Nicola Hauk, Dale and Lauryn Anglim

Overall, the Huskers topped the Buckeyes in shots (16-11), shots on goal (7-4) and corners (6-2). NU’s shots were distributed amongst seven players with Weber leading the team with six.
