Huskers Drop to Third in December Poll



Lincoln – Nebraska falls to third place in the national poll, as the National Ten Pin Coaches Association (NTCA) released its December poll Friday morning. 


Despite the Huskers winning their first three tournaments at the Bearcat Hammer Open, Track Kat Klash, and Motiv Ladyjack Classic, they drop to third with 13 of the 53 first-place votes and a total of 1,825 points, closely falling behind No. 2 McKendree’s total of 1,829. Sam Houston State took first place in the poll with a total of 1,975 points. North Carolina A&T and Vanderbilt swap places in the poll to finish out the final top five positions. 


The Huskers will return to the lanes following winter break, January 8-10, at the Stormin’ Blue & Gold in Las Vegas, Nev.
