Huskers Announce Big Red Blitz Tour that will Feature Moos, Frost, and Hoiberg

The Nebraska athletic department announced in a press release that NU Athletic Director Bill Moos, Husker football head coach Scott Frost, and Nebraska’s new head basketball coach Fred Hoiberg will visit three different Nebraska cities on May 30th that were impacted by flooding earlier this year.

“In Nebraska our greatest resource is our people. That has never been more evident than citizens and communities coming together with great resilience after the devastating March floods,” Moos said in a press release. “We hope our Nebraska coaches and staff heading out to parts of the state that were affected will help play a small part in the continued healing and recovery.”

The Big Red Blitz will begin at the Divots Conference Center in Norfolk at 12:30. Then, they’ll bus over to Fremont and arrive by 3:30 at Christensen Field Arena. Both of those events are free and open to about 800 people. Lastly, the group will head arrive at the SAC Museum near Ashland at 6:30. That event will cost $20 and can hold up to 1,000 people. Each stop will be for about 90 minutes.

In addition to Moos, Frost, and Hoiberg, they will be joined by other Nebraska coaches and staff.
