Huskers Add Transfer Allie Gard



The Nebraska women’s gymnastics program announced the addition of Arkansas transfer Allie Gard on Thursday. Gard will join the Huskers in January after spending the first semester at Arkansas. 

Prior to her collegiate career, Gard trained at J&R Gymnastics under coaches Karen Medellin and Petie Pierre. Gard was a 2022 Junior Olympic National Qualifier and finished in the top 10 on vault. In 2018, Gard was a Junior Olympic National Qualifier. Gard also claimed the 2016 Texas State title in the all-around competition. 

A native of Round Rock, Texas, Gard attended Cedar Ridge High School. She intends on majoring in nutrition, health and exercise science at Nebraska.
