Husker Camp Countdown: No. 40 Henry Lutovsky

6-6, 310 | Sophomore | Offensive lineman

If there’s a designated sixth man across the Nebraska offensive front, Lutovsky might be it.

Such was essentially his role as a redshirt freshman last season when he saw action in every game at right guard and started there twice. And it could be shaping up that way again with some combination of Nouri Nouili, Ethan Piper and Turner Corcoran in the starting mix at guard and Teddy Prochazka (left) and Bryce Benhart (right) the odds-on favorites at tackle.

It’s a key job because injuries — and the need for occasional breathers — are part of the reality for many Big Ten blockers. The native of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, has the look of a future starter whose task this year may be equally valuable.
