Frosted Flakes: Superstitions and Senior Day

I like to think that I am not superstitious.

I would say with most things I’m not, but when it comes to Husker games it turns out that I am.

For example, I’ve made sure to wear the same Husker shirt I wore when the Huskers beat Penn State. I did wash it though. I’ve tried to make myself wear a different one and I just couldn’t do it.

I also have superstitions when it comes to food. A long running joke between a friend and I is that you need to have biscuits for a Husker game. So now I have to make biscuits and make sure my family is eating them for the game.

Last weekend I didn’t drink in the first quarter and I felt like they were doing so well that I should continue to not drink. Well, that lasted until right before half, but you get the idea.

Are you superstitious or do you have any game day rituals?

On to the flakes.
