Friday Flakes: Tommy Armstrong Signs with Nebraska Indoor Football Team and Ten Reasons 2018 Didn’t “Just” Suck

Time to make a trip to Grand Island

Looks like Tommy Armstrong has found a home. It sounded like the former Nebraska quarterback was going to play for the new Alliance of American Football (AAF) League in Salt Lake City along with other former Huskers like Kenny Bell and De’Mornay Pierson-El.

Well now you don’t have to drive as far to watch Armstrong play as he has signed with the Nebraska Danger, which is an Indoor Football team located in Grand Island, NE.

Last summer I went to the Fire School in Grand Island. We received tickets to go watch the Nebraska Danger play and honestly it was pretty entertaining. We left at half-time because we needed to go eat dinner but I’m sure we might have stayed if Tommy Armstrong was playing quarterback for the Danger that day.
