Friday Flakes: Omar Manning’s WAR and Adrian Martinez Looks Slim Huskers Football News Scott Frost

Samori Touré retweeted this last night. The first thought that came to my head was “what if.”

What if Omar Manning is a consistent threat for the offense this season? Just think what it would mean for this team. I’m not an expert on Major League Baseball’s WAR (Wins Above Replacement) but I think Omar Manning’s WAR might be 1 or 2 games. Maybe more.

Samori Touré, Omar Manning, Oliver Martin and Zavier Betts plus a lot of other potential.

It makes me excited.

That red sugary drink continues to inch closer and closer but I am doing my best not to drink the Kool-Aid.

Plus, I read that Adrian Martinez dropped some weight but he looks significantly slimmer. While we are nostalgic of the quarterbacks who would lower their shoulder to take on a defender, I hope Martinez is extremely selective when it’s his time to run the ball.
